At all stages, various departments and agencies of the State Government shall have to contribute towards the data & information collection, planning and implementation of the Smart City Proposal. In such a scenario, it is necessary to formulate an integrated team for the successful implementation of Bhubaneswar’s Smart City Proposal. Bhubaneswar has a diverse set of stakeholders that need to be included in this proposal including administration and governance, roads, electricity, water supply systems, sewerage and drainage systems, IT and Telecommunication systems along with other social infrastructure and service providers like education and health.
At the planning stage itself, this scheme for the city must seek convergence with Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY), Digital India, Make in India, Skill Development, Housing for All, construction of Museums funded by the Culture Department and other programs connected to social infrastructure such as Health, Education and Culture along with other policies and schemes of State Government.
